Wow! There’s a playground ON the beach. It blew my daughters mind. We went there on a Sunday afternoon where a parking spot was easy to find. Bathrooms are clean and the views are incredible. There are walking trails around the beach and near the parking lot.
Wonderful! Enjoyed the treat of the beach with a light blanket of snow. My wife and I delighted in the beautiful beach and got quite a few amazing pictures while there. Highly recommend anyone that can visit.
Visited Rosewood Beach end of November at 51F. There were many parking spaces on top of the hill. I walked down the stairs to the beach. The sand size was small, smooth, and clean with a few kinds of grass.
The beach was divided into different semicircles where people can swim in the summer.
Each semicircle had a spacious wood sitting area which appeared comfortable and well maintained.
The Park also has a small children's playground and picnic tables.
Smoking and dogs are not allowed at Rosewood. The fine to break any of these two rules is $75.
Also, there is a fee to park. But the parking was not enforced when I visited in November. Bathrooms are closed off-season.
I do recommend this park because is secluded and beautiful. However, I wish Rosewood had more trials and a wildlife habitat area. Especially where the river reaches the lake.
I did not observe any wildlife or Fish.
Gorgeous beach! Just be aware they do try to make this not friendly for anyone who doesn’t live in this wealthy area. You have to pay for parking ($10 an hour) and $10 per person beach pass. They really do not want non locals (aka not rich white folks) coming here lol
A very peaceful beach , has a beautiful small hike, with lot of place for picnicking.
Very clean beach ⛱ can go easily for a stroll and enjoy a calm beautiful evening
If you live out of state you can't park in the designated lot, you need to park at the local elementary school. Then after you walk to the beach you have to pay a $10 fee per person. The young person taking your information before you are able to get access to the beach is rude. I would not recommend going out of your way to get to this beach
It's still a mistake to give one star. Zero is what the service of this beach deserves.
We live quite remotely and came here to look at the beautiful nature and spend good time. Then the beach workers saw my kitty, which I carried in my arms on a leash, they were horrified, how dare I go to their beach with a pet. They warned if I didn't leave the beach with my pet immediately, they would call the police. POLICE Really? Perfect, everybody loves ❤️ ther pets, but not if it sombodie's.
Two very young guys, one of whom had black nails!!!(so, I didn’t understand what my cat was more afraid of, this "worker" with black nails (: or still the police) They followed me with my cat and wanted me to leave the beach.
What a shame!!!
Never bring money such "business".
They made this beach quite expensive, parking and more entrance for each includes children and are rude.
Oh, where can people finally go to just walk around.
We can found much friendly place lakeside,
I definitely Don't Recommend! and also think before you go there because the same thing could happen to you:(
Beautiful beach. Fall colors are amazing here. They have a beautiful party hall right in the beach.
